A PIN is a 4-8 digit code that you’ll need to enter to activate your SIM every time you turn your mobile phone on. It’s not activated by default and you'll need to turn it on and then change it to something more personal to you. Please refer to your Mobile userguide or Manufacturer website for instructions.
The default PIN setting for your new TalkTalk SIM card is 1234.
If you've entered your PIN incorrectly 3 times in a row, you'll require a PUK to unlock the handset.
PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key and is a code that is needed to unlock your mobile.
If your mobile asks for a PUK, please call TalkTalk Customer Services on 0870 087 8751 (or 2883 from your TalkTalk mobile) to obtain your PUK code.
